BOLD's four founding partners began collaborating on web sites in the summer of 1996, and formed BOLD Internet Business Solutions, LLC, on January 1, 1999.

Initially, we focused on developing web sites that conformed to fundamental design values:

• Ease of use
• Logical design and navigation
• Liberal use of white space and a "clean" look
• Compatibility with different browser versions, browser types and PCs
• Fast-loading pages with optimized graphics

Soon, BOLD began developing web applications and database-driven web pages, some of them quite complex.  To sucessfully develop applications that use web pages and forms as the user interface for underlying logic managed in SQL databases, adherence to development methodology rules. BOLD requires:

• Clear identification of functionality requirements
• User involvement
• Employment of Project Management principles
• Thorough testing and evaluation

One BOLD vision is to empower clients to manage Web site updates themselves. BOLD SiteWriter, our online content management system, makes it easy for non-technical users to update pages anytime from any computer with an Internet connection.
